Based on the fundamental research in various technical fields, the Systems Hub will facilitate the integration of multidisciplinary technologies and explore their applications. The Systems Hub now invites applications or nominations for multiple faculty positions at all ranks (Professor / Associate Professor / Assistant Professor) in Intelligent Transportation (INTR) Thrust. We welcome applicants with research focus in the following areas, including but not limited to:

The Hong Kong University of Science and Technology (HKUST) is a world-renowned international research university. The Ministry of Education of People's Republic of China officially approved the preparatory status of The Hong Kong University of Science and Technology (Guangzhou) (HKUST (GZ)) in September 2019. The Guangzhou campus covers 1.13 square kilometers and the first phase of construction is expected to be completed in 2022. At steady state, the number of undergraduate and postgraduate students will reach a total of 10,000. The intended areas of focus in the GZ Campus will be thematic and cross-disciplinary in nature, synergistic with HKUST without overlapping academic degrees or structures. Four Academic Hubs (equivalent to schools) with 16 Thrust Areas (equivalent to departments) are now in place.
