Requirements

1.Qualified candidates should have at least a Master’s Degree from the U.S university, majoring in Software Engineering, Computer Science, computer science, Computer science and technology, etc.
2.Candidates with doctorate degree are preferred.
3.Qualified candidates should have at least 5 years of experience in education or teaching.
4.Candidates who are native English speakers are preferred.
5.Candidates who come from the U.S are preferred.

Teaching Payment: ¥16,500 per month (about US $2,100, tax included)
We will provide accommodation and work visa for the lecturer.

Responsibilities

1.Lecturing Consultation: A general version of subject outline will provide to the Lecturer, who is required to provide the customized final version by 20th September 2023, which includes subject information such as the proportion of theoretical lectures, the proportion of practical lectures, assessment information, learning outcomes, subject workload, learning resources (two book titles from prescribed textbook, journal, or other readings are required to provide) and a study plan or topic to be covered by each week.
2.Exam Paper Design: 2 sets of test papers are required, divided into A & B papers, with no less than 20% repetitive rate. The papers should include with no less than 3 types of test questions in each set. (For example: choice + judgment + short answer, or choice + short answer + case study). Each set of papers will be scored out of 100 points and the teacher will be required to provide standard answers for objective questions and grading criteria for subjective questions. The Chinese teaching assistant will be responsible for grading, and the foreign teacher will be responsible for random checking of the final student’s grade.
3.Quiz Design: Discuss with the teaching assistant to determine the type of quiz (optional choice test, group discussion etc.), design the quiz for each module and provide answer or rubrics as well.
4.Quiz or other types of evaluation mode for the tutorial session with answers or rubrics will be provided to assistant teacher 3 business days before each lecturing.
5.Final example paper and rubrics are to provide by 15th December 2023.
6.According to the requirements of China’s Ministry of Education, all teaching materials of each course provided by the corresponding instructor have to be censored, including textbooks, courseware, audio and video files, case materials, etc. We hope the foreign teachers will understand the censorship procedures.
